It’s been quite some time since my last post. The reason isn’t for a lack of stories or recipes to share. I’ve just been a little busy.
The New Year came in like a lion with major changes to my personal life and new discoveries happening everyday professionally. I’m in the middle of moving to a new place, which makes cooking a little difficult with most of my equipment in boxes. Now that it’s nearly April, I’m hoping the lion will go back to his lair and let the lamb frolic for a bit.
With the spring holiday season coming up, I thought it was a perfect time to share a few recipes over the next few weeks that are perfect for entertaining. Truth be told, I first made this back in December and it’s still one of my favorites.
- 1 wheel of brie, about 12 oz.
- ¼ cup of honey
- ¼ cup toasted sliced almonds
- ¼ cup dried cranberries
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper. Place the brie in the center. Bake for 10 minutes, or until the center is oozy but not melted.
- Transfer the warm brie to a serving dish with a lip on the sides. Sprinkled the almonds and dried cranberries on top. Drizzle with honey. Serve immediately with crackers or slices of baguette.
